Her art format for the last 20 years has distributed a narrative and art’s aesthetics towards art and design. artWORKS HAVE BEEN EXHIBITED INTERNATIONALLY. VARIOUS WORKS AWARDED AND ADDED To COLLECTIONS. Currently working as a creative entrepreneur. Studio which functions both as a workspace and a showroom is situated in Katajanokka business premises. Hiltunen has influence within various art associations, current board member of Ornamo Art & Design.

ART
The story-telling of Reetta Hiltunen's art, which dresses up in different cultural characters, arises from her intensive involvement within music and acting in her youth. Her art is figurative and playful. The allegory way of presentation personifies the context with human or animal characters.
Her paintings aesthetic are intertwined with meanings, which are unearthed by the rich symbolism of the artworks. Hiltunen's conceptual approach examines the meanings and transformation of social behaviour, cultural traditions and popular culture.
Primarily figurative paintings are created delicately by hand (airbrush/pencil) on paper, which occasionally recreated into collages or fine art prints. Trained as a professional printmaker, Hiltunen is known for her pattern designs and printmaking techniques.
